GIRLS TRIP TO CYPRUS

I have to admit Cyprus wasn't our first choice for our girl’s holiday destination. After many discussions we decided we wanted to go somewhere that was for the most part relaxing and scenic but as the classic eighteen-year olds we are we still wanted the option to go out for the night to clubs and bars. So Paphos Cyprus was our final decision.
We arrived very late at night in Paphos after a 4-hour flight, a short taxi journey later we got ourselves checked in at the Avanti Hotel and settled for the night by watching Love Island ofc and going to sleep before a day of doing nothing.

The days started with a buffet breakfast outside which was delightful we had a range of cooked food, fruit and pancakes. We spent most days down at the pool which we discovered they have a daily song and dance at 3pm which turned out to be the highlight of the holiday.

We took a trip to the harbour which had a castle and lots of archaeological sites to visit. We went around the castle and got some amazing piccys out to sea. We found the most amazing view from a café of the sea which became our hotspot after our walk down to the harbour.
We went to a super boujee restaurant on the sea front which had music playing and the most incredible choice of cocktails. We went to a couple of bars and we soon found out that clubs in Paphos don't open until 3am which was a shock to us as English gals who go home at that time.
We did visit the Paphos Waterpark which was super fun, they had a crazy range of slides and our fav was the wave pool... we spent most of the time sat in rubber rings floating round, bobbing up and down.

The beach was practically on our doorstep, which was super nice as we could easily spend the day there. The sea was very calm and peaceful despite me not actually getting in it. But it was so relaxing, and we found ourselves a lovely spot for the whole day in a quiet area.

Our final evening consisted of many plates of food at a small outdoor restaurant on the boardwalk. They had live music and we timed dinner well as we watched the sun set over the sea and it ended our holiday perfectly.
